Who are your neighbors? Many churches do not know. In many congregations, a veneer of stability masks a sea of change that has taken place in the surrounding communities. All churches will thrive, Craig Miller says in NextChurch. Now, precisely to the extent that they come to know the "people groups" in their communities and the create ministry settings in which people experience faith in Jesus Christ. Miller calls churches to rediscover the early Christian and Wesleyan passion for all peoples. As congregations turn outward to engage new generations and populations, they find a life beyond maintaining themselves. Miller has made an important contribution for all churches wanting to discover God's call for them in a new day..
